3-in-a-row: Platinum Sustainability Medal Winner

Irish Sea Contractors has been awarded the top sustainability medal by EcoVadis.

Achieving a platinum sustainability medal for the third year in a row demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainable, ethical and responsible business practices. This medal places Irish Sea Contractors in the top 1% of companies assessed within their industry of a similar size.

EcoVadis is a globally recognised platform that assesses the environmental and social performance of companies across various industries.

Irish Sea Contractors' Managing Director, David Barrett, commented, "this medal is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team who are committed to making a positive impact on the environment and society.

As a company, we focus on continuous improvement across all of our operations and this assessment provides us with a tool to do this. Over the past three years, we have implemented new or improved policies, procedures, initiatives, and employee programmes. This is reflected in the improvement in our score performance across all three areas assessed - environment, labour and human rights, and ethics. Well done to our team for their continued commitment to our sustainability journey.

We know there is always more to be done and sustainability is a top priority for our business. We will continue to improve our business practices, working towards a more sustainable future for our clients, team, community, and environment."
